Hi David. Here are the drafts for you. The slideshow/image rotation will not be in Flash, but will use HTML5, CSS and scripting that will allow it and the whole site to adapt / degrade well in desktops, mobile devices, narrower resolutions, and older browsers. NOTE: Click the thumbnail images for full-size mockups.

Note that the mockup is only a graphic, and thus isn't "responsive" (it won't adjust for your browser), since it's a static image. In a live version, the site would shrink down to size, moving the menu so it's vertical, and stacking the sections so they're all visible via a narrow viewport.

Also note that the painting of the string quartet can be used as part of a slideshow, to make the site more dynamic. The painting can fade (or slide or some other animated movement) to become an image of Britten, then a photo of your quartet in action (if you have such a photo), and so on. Or you can keep the image static if you prefer. The bottom section, devoted to your Facebook and Twitter feeds, will automatically pull content from FB and Twitter.

This is basically the same as the first sample, except with a different image in the forefront (which can be used in the slideshow along with the painting if you like it) as well as a NYC skyline at the top just to add a hint of "New York" to the draft; the Britten and musician graphics are also tinted a different color. Otherwise everything else is identical.

Of course with either sample, colors can change and content can be moved around/reworked as you please. For example, the social media buttons on the top right corner can be changed to colors if you like. (I tend to prefer the white myself, since the "subway" logo is pretty colorful and I think it best not to have anything clashing too much in the header.)

A version that uses the same skyline and initial slideshow image as Sample #2, plus incorporates the changes from your email of 1/28 (adds Britten100.org link in the Britten box, removes the sepia tone from the Britten and musician images, changes the JCC setting to Bruno Walter, and adds a prominent "Find us on Facebook" graphic," although this will just link to your FB page, rather than being a "like" button;" the FB "like" button is a predetermined size and appears below the larger graphic).

Same as #3 but with slightly darker aqua background.
